Job Summary:

As an SAP Basis Consultant, you will be responsible for handling more complex system issues, performance tuning, and advanced troubleshooting. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of the SAP landscape, including involvement in projects such as upgrades, migrations, and integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor SAP system health and performance to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
  • Perform daily system checks and troubleshooting of SAP environments.
  • Handle user queries and issues, providing immediate resolution where possible.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior SAP Basis consultants.
  • Assist with SAP software installations, upgrades, and patch applications under supervision.
  • Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and system changes.
  • Collaborate with other IT departments to ensure integrated system performance.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform advanced SAP system administration, including system performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Lead SAP system upgrades, patches, and migration projects.
  • Coordinate with application teams to implement and support SAP applications.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of complex system issues, providing solutions and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Level 1 support staff.
  • Work on critical incidents, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, with advanced certifications preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration and support.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP system landscape, architecture, and integration points.
  • Experience with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and cloud environments is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage complex SAP environments and projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
